La Fornacina Country House, Agriturismo, Ecoturismo and Wellness in Tuscany, is situated amongst the rolling hills of Maremma.
Just let the pleasant lifestyle of the Tuscan countryside and the healthy waters of Saturnia take care of you and make yourself at home in our old farmhouse, which combines country appeal with hotel comforts.
If you are going to spend your holidays in Italy, La Fornacina is an ideal place to discover the absolute charm of a region full of history, as well as its delicious food and beautiful nature, half way between Rome and Florence.
La Fornacina is an old countryhouse with a captivating style, where every detail expresses elegance and extreme care.
The old house will warmly welcome you in winter days, when wood is constantly burning and crackling in the fireplace, and people gather round it to drink a glass of local red wine.
The bar also is dedicated to the comfort of our guests. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy aperitifs, home-made liquors, herb-teas, coffee and our delicious cookies.
The dining room is a winter garden with the big table where guests dine together.
For breakfast, a variety of marmelades of fruit grown in our garden is served, together with fresh ricotta-cheese, home-baked bread and cakes, organic yoghurt, virgin honey and muesli.
Through its large windows, it magically melts in with the garden, featuring the large refreshing swimming-pool, sauna, spa and several relaxing spots. In summer, dinner is served in the garden, under a rose arbor
La Fornacina's kitchen reflects our lifestyle!
It's a sunny and bright forge where organic products are combined with home-made pasta, game and premium quality cheese. The crunchy bread, pizzas and cookies you will be served are baked in our wood stove.
