DESCRIPTION:
La Tana is located on the magnificent South Maratea coast, in a peaceful sunny area with wonderfully mild climate.
On oasis of pleasure and relaxation surrounded by unspolit vegetation filled with the perfume of wild flowers in a territory of outstanding beauty.
Nowhere else will you experience an indescrivable medley of colours quite like this. Accomodation to meet almost any taste is available all year round and the places to visit range from natural parks, to towns important for art and religion or renowned seaside and skiing resorts, enchanting scenery and mediaeval boroughs that bear witness to great civilizations of the past.
Hotel La Tana offers standard and deluxe rooms (with a total of 80 beds). All rooms are furnished tastefully and have a private entrance with balcony and garden or terrace, private bathroom, phone with direct outgoing line, hair dryer, mirror with magnifying glass, central heating and Satellite colour TV. Our deluxe rooms also have mini bar, in-room safe and air conditioning.
Our dining room seats 130 guests and has air conditioning and central heating.
Friendly and efficient service in a setting which is both elegant, modern and comfortable; under the traditional guidance of the hotel owners,La Tana provides a cuisine of typical Italian foods, sea foods and specialities of Lucania whose excellence is confirmed by the best food guides.
Services: free private parking, solarium and spacious garden with space dedicated to special events, 3 bars, restaurant, square, gym, swimming pool, whirlpool, up-current swimming, play ground for children, mountain bike trails, TV room, meeting room, tavern, ping-pong, regular hotel shuttle service to the beach (free of charge) and to the railway station. Excursions organized by the Hotel are available. The Hotel is just a stone's throw from many beaches, bays, creeks and caves along the magnificient Maratea coastline.
The swimming pool: 168 sq.m. with depth from 1.05 to 1.75 m - whirlpool, upstream swimming, water therapy shower - request pool opening times.
Services for which a fee is charged: Sauna - Turkish Bath - Hydro massages therapeutic, services of 6 places checked by rule.
Hotel La Tana has also agreements with many beaches and organizations along the coast that offer its guests many different forms of recreations: horse, riding, boat excursions, wind surf, sailing, tennis, go skarts, car, scooter and boat rental, night fishing and underwater diving with instructor.
